Panel rules Soros-backed prosecutor violated multiple ethics rules in pursuit of ex-Gov. Greitens

Kim Gardner, the Circuit Attorney in St. Louis, has openly acknowledged wrongdoing before a state legal board in connection to her handling of the case against former Missouri Governor Eric Greitens. Reports suggest that Gardner will accept a reprimand for prosecutorial misconduct, with both parties reaching an agreement on the matter during proceedings at the Missouri Office of Disciplinary Counsel held in a St. Louis County courthouse.

While the specific disciplinary actions will be determined by the Missouri Supreme Court, this development comes amidst accusations against Gardner, who, having received financial support from liberal donor George Soros, was implicated in a 73-page report for ethical breaches such as failing to disclose evidence to Greitens' defense and misrepresenting evidence. Notably, Greitens is presently a contender in the Republican primary for an open U.S. Senate seat representing Missouri in Congress.
